1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Morpholis, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
These terms apply to all users — readers, authors, and administrators.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Morpholis.
Each person may maintain one account. Duplicate accounts may be suspended.

Morpholis uses a coin-based system. You purchase coin bundles with real currency (Naira or US Dollars) and spend coins to unlock individual chapters.
All purchases are final. Coins, once bought, cannot be refunded or converted back to currency.
Coins have no cash value outside the Morpholis platform and are non-transferable.
Chapter unlock prices are set by the platform and may change. Chapters already unlocked are not affected by price changes.
Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment provider. Morpholis is not responsible for payment provider outages, errors, or delays beyond our control.

Quill Points (QP) are an alternative currency earned through platform activity, not purchased.
QP can be used to unlock chapters in batches as specified in the current rates.
QP have no cash value, cannot be purchased, and are non-transferable.
QP earning rates and redemption rules may change at the platform's discretion.

Authors retain ownership of the content (books, chapters, cover art) they publish on Morpholis.
By publishing content, authors grant Morpholis a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote that content on the platform.
Readers may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from content they have unlocked. Unlocked chapters are for personal reading only.
Morpholis owns the platform, its design, code, brand, and all non-user-generated content.

Authors are solely responsible for the content they publish. Morpholis does not pre-review all content before publication.
Authors must not publish content that infringes on others' intellectual property, is defamatory, or violates any applicable law.
Content must be correctly rated (General or Mature). Misrated content may be reclassified or removed.
Morpholis reserves the right to remove or reject content that violates these terms, without prior notice.

Authors earn a share of revenue when readers unlock their chapters, as determined by the Morpholis revenue-sharing model.
Earnings are calculated based on the platform's published rates and author share percentages.
Payout schedules, minimum thresholds, and methods are set by Morpholis and may be updated.
Morpholis reserves the right to adjust revenue-sharing terms with reasonable notice.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, the platform infrastructure, or any systems you are not authorized to use.
You must not use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the platform in ways that circumvent normal usage.
You must not share unlocked content outside the platform or redistribute paid content for free.
You must not harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
You must not attempt to manipulate coin balances, reading metrics, or platform analytics.

Morpholis may moderate content at its discretion. This includes removing content, reclassifying ratings, or suspending publishing privileges.
We may act on reports from users or automated systems regarding content violations.
Appeals regarding moderation decisions can be submitted through the platform's support channels.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
Morpholis may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity.
Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy. Content you published as an author may be retained or removed at Morpholis's discretion.
Unspent coins and Quill Points are forfeited upon account termination and are not refundable.

Morpholis is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
User-generated content represents the views of its authors, not Morpholis. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of user content.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Morpholis shall be resolved in the courts of Nigeria.
