Monthly performance for writers — Writers have a new Analytics page showing what each month earned them — a bar chart of their share, unlocks, and the story that made them the most money that month, for the past year. The admin team gets its own monthly view of the platform's income.

A contract step before books go live — When our team approves a book, it isn't published right away anymore. The author signs a short publishing contract with us first, and the book goes live for readers the moment that's done. Writers can follow their book's status — Draft, Pending review, Approved (contract on the way), and Published — right from their dashboard.

Authors can reply to comments — Reader comments now show the author's replies right underneath, with an "Author" badge so it's clear who's speaking. If you're a writer, hit Reply under any comment on your book to answer your readers directly.

Know when readers are talking — Authors now get an alert — in-app, by email, and as a phone notification — the moment someone comments on their book, with a link straight to the conversation.

Search by tag — The search bar now understands tags. Type something like "academy" or "rivalry" and you'll see every story tagged with it, alongside title and author matches.

Simpler, fairer referral rewards — Referral rewards are now 2 coins when a friend signs up with your link (plus 3 more when they buy their first bundle), with a lifetime cap of 20 coins from sign-up referrals. Your dashboard shows the cap so there are no surprises.

Blurb formatting, preserved — Paragraphs writers put in their book blurbs now appear exactly as typed on the book page — no more walls of text.

App coming soon — install the web app today — The native Android and iOS apps aren't out just yet. Tapping the download buttons now explains what's coming and walks you through installing Morpholis as a web app in one tap, so you get the full-screen, home-screen experience today.

Fewer rough edges on small screens — Another pass over the site fixed spots where long titles, emails, or buttons could stretch pages sideways on phones — dashboards, search, and notifications all behave on small screens now.

A warmer, cozier Morpholis — We've given the whole site a friendlier feel — softer rounded corners, pill-shaped buttons, and book covers that seem to lift right off the shelf when you hover over them. The colors you know and love haven't changed.

A brand-new homepage — The homepage now opens with a big featured-story spotlight — a full cover, a short synopsis, and a one-tap Read now — instead of cropped banner tiles. Below it, a new row of genre chips takes you straight to the shelves you love, and there's a new section for writers curious about publishing their own stories.

A gentler dark mode — Dark mode no longer drops to a harsh black. Pages now use layered warm charcoal tones, so sections sit softly above the background and reading at night is easier on the eyes.

Smoother everywhere — Scrolling glides, pages fade gently into each other, and buttons now have a little life — arrows nudge forward as you hover. Everything still respects your device's reduced-motion setting.

Fresh dashboards — Reader, author, and admin dashboards got a cleaner layout: clearer highlights for what matters (like your earnings), friendlier navigation, and a tidier look on tablets and phones.

Author names fixed on See-all pages — We fixed an issue where browsing a full section — like Trending or Completed — sometimes showed "Unknown author" under books. Real names now show reliably.

Morpholis is now an installable app — Add Morpholis to your home screen for a fast, full-screen, app-like reading experience. On Android you can install the Morpholis app directly, and iPhone readers can add it from Safari. It opens instantly, feels native, and even keeps your last page available when you're offline.

A refreshed brand icon — We've updated the Morpholis logo and app icon across the site — a cleaner mark you'll see on your home screen, in your browser tab, and when you share links.

Tell us a little about you — New readers now choose a gender and enter their date of birth when signing up (you must be 16 or older). If you joined before this, you'll see a quick one-time prompt to add these the next time you visit — it only takes a moment.

Daily check-in rewards — Check in every day to earn free coins — 1 coin a day, with a 3-coin bonus every seventh day in a row (that's a free chapter unlock). Miss a day and your streak resets, so keep it going from your dashboard.

Invite friends, earn together — Grab your personal referral link from the dashboard. You'll earn 5 coins when a friend signs up with it, and 3 more when they buy their first coin bundle — a simple way to stock up on coins while sharing stories you love.

Earn coins by watching ads — Need a few more coins to unlock the next chapter? You can now watch short ads to earn free ones — up to 6 coins a day, right from your dashboard. A new way to keep reading without spending.

Get notified on your phone — Turn on app notifications in your settings to get a push when a new chapter drops, a book you follow updates, or your payout comes through. It works in the Android app and on iPhone once Morpholis is added to your home screen.

Dashboard security strengthened — We've hardened the security around all dashboards to ensure user data stays properly separated. This is a backend improvement — you won't see any changes, but it keeps your account more secure.

Email notifications, on by default — You'll now get email updates by default — new chapters on books you follow, book news, and account activity (plus payouts, for authors). Prefer to keep things quiet? Turn them off any time from your Settings.

Edit your published chapters — Authors can now update a published chapter's title and writing without taking it offline. And to keep links readers have already shared working, each chapter keeps the same web address after it's edited.

Reader counts now include everyone who's started — The "Readers" number on each book now counts every reader who's started it — free preview chapters included — so it better reflects a story's real reach across Trending, Search, and Browse.

Sharper shared links — Sharing a book link now produces a richer card — the cover with real depth, the genre, and a short synopsis — designed to stand out in WhatsApp, X, and anywhere else you paste it.

A dedicated home for writers — Aspiring authors now have a clear page of their own at the Become an Author link — the requirements, how the process works step by step, and exactly what you can earn, all in one place.

More reliable chapter publishing — We fixed a rare issue that could stop an author from adding a new chapter after deleting an earlier one. Chapter numbers are now assigned cleanly every time.

Comment on books — You can now leave comments on any book to share your thoughts with other readers and the author. Sign in to post, and you can delete your own comments at any time.

Become an Author, reimagined — Our page for writers has a fresh look — "City of Dreams." It clearly lays out the requirements to apply (3,000 words), the step-by-step process from sign-up to going live, and exactly what you can earn: a 20% revenue share, a $25 monthly performance bonus, and a $50 completion bonus.

User emails in the admin dashboard — Admins can now see and search each reader's email address directly in the Users table.

Accurate reader counts — The "Readers" number on each book — and the order of Trending, Search, and Browse — now reflect real reading activity instead of placeholder numbers.

Better-looking shared links — When you share a book link in WhatsApp, X, or another app, it now shows a proper card with the cover, title, author, and genre instead of a blank or broken preview.

More free chapters to try — Books now open with 5 free preview chapters by default, so readers get a bigger taste before unlocking. Admins can change this number anytime from the Platform settings.

Share any book — A Share button now appears on every book page and in the author's book list — copy a link or share straight to your favorite app.

A friendlier end of chapter — Reach the latest chapter of an ongoing book and you'll get a gentle nudge to browse more stories while you wait for the next update. Finish a completed book and you'll see a "The end." send-off with recommendations for your next read.
